Psychotherapy 

I hold a doctorate in clinical psychology and have specialized in psychodynamic psychotherapy, play therapy, psychological trauma, and mindfulness.  

 

I currently work with adults who are interested in participating in contemporary insight-oriented psychotherapy. 

 

In my own journey of psychotherapy and mindfulness I have worked diligently with mentors who were directly guided by students of the philosopher Martin Buber, the Viennese psychoanalyst Richard F. Sterba, Zen Master Thich Naht Hanh, Reb Zalman, and the psychiatrist Bessel van der Kolk.

 

What should you expect to happen if you decide to contact me? We will have an initial assessment (about 2 - 3 sessions). If we decide that working together can help you, we will engage in a once-a-week short-term dynamic therapy (12 - 18 sessions).  When we bring the work to a close, we will evaluate the outcomes of our collaboration. If needed, we will continue and move into long-term therapy.
